Who we are:
The Saskatchewan Games Council is made up of three staff members and 11
directors whose focus is to provide a quality multi-sport experience
for the provinces young developing athletes. The Council also provides
extensive logistical support for Team Sask's participation in the
Western Canada Summer Games and the Canada Games. In addition to our
work with the Saskatchewan Games and Team Sask, we also provide funding
support to the First Nations Summer and Winter Games and the
Saskatchewan 55+ Games.
Our Vision:
We envision that all residents of Saskatchewan value multi-sport games
as a path to sport excellence and provincial pride. It is our hope that
every sport strive for inclusion with maximum district participation
and that every eligible community have the opportunity to host a
multi-sport games.
Our Mission:
We facilitate sport development and healthy lifestyles through the
organization and support of multi-sport games in the province and
Saskatchewan's participation in multi-sport games outside the province.
