Bio:

  • Assistant Chef de Mission at the 2003 & 2007 Western Canada Summer Games
  • Chef de Mission at the 1988 & 1990 Saskatchewan Games 
 
 
 Louise Ashcroft, Regina

Sports: Soccer (Female) and Wrestling (Female)

Bio:

  • Employed as a Physiotherapist at the U of R Allied Health Center
  • Member of Team Canada's medical team at the Pan Am Games in Brazil in 2008

 

 

Brenda Bathgate, Regina

Mission Office Manager

Bio:

  • Current Chair of the Saskatchewan Games Council
  • Mission Staff at several Canada, Western Canada and Saskatchewan Games
  • Extensive volunteer experience

 

 

Darrell Baker, Regina

Sports: Diving and Baseball

Bio:

  • Coached baseball for 26 years and won  10 provincial championships
  • Volunteered as the Vice President of Admin and Finance for the 2005 Canada Summer Games

Bio:

  • Chef de Mission of Team Saskatchewan at the NAIG Games in 2008
  • Assistant Chef de Mission of Team Saskatchewan at the NAIG Games in 2006
  • Mission Staff at the Canada Games in 2005 and 2007
 

Alison Brown, Regina

Sport: Tennis

Bio:

  • Represented Canada in the Sport of Baton Twirling seven times.
  • Served as Mission Staff at the 1999 Canada Winter Games
  • Participated in the 2005 Canada Summer Games as an event volunteer
 

Julie Chabot, Regina

Communications Coordinator

Bio:

  • Employed as the Communications Coordinator for the Saskatchewan Games Council
  • Competed in Cross Country, Middle Distance races and Pentathlon as a U of R Cougar
 

Rob Currie, Regina

Sport: Rowing

Bio:

  • 1992 SaskSport Masters Athlete of the Year award winner   
  • Vice President of Sport at the 2005 Saskatchewan Summer Games
  • Participated as an athlete at several Western Canada and Canada Summer Games
 

Karen Fradette, Saskatoon

Bio:

  • Extensive sport volunteer experience
  • Participated as Mission Staff at several Saskatchewan Summer and Winter Games
 

Ellen Grewcock, Prince Albert

Sport: Sailing

Bio:

  • Played Husky Basketball at the U of S
  • Competed at the Masters World Games with the Saskatoon Champs Softball team 
  • Volunteered at Saskatchewan Summer Games and Western Canada Summer Games as the Chair of Results for Athletics
 

Amber Holland, Regina

Sports: Golf and Softball

Bio:

  • Qualified for the 2009 Canadian pre-Olympic Curling trials 
  • Competed in the Scott Tournament of Hearts nine times.
  • National Instructor for the Canadian Curling Association
 

Brie Jedlic, Regina

Mental Trainer

 Bio:

  • Works as a Mental Trainer for the Sports Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan
  • Placed sixth at the 2000 Olympic Rowing Trials
  • Competed as a member of the Canadian National Women's Rowing team five times.

  • Acted as the Chef de Mission of Team Sask at the Canada Games five times.
  • Acted as the Chef de Mission of Team Sask at the Western Canada Summer Games five times.
 

Curtis Markewich, Regina

Sports: Soccer (Male)

Bio:

  • Played three years of hockey in the SJHL with the Notre Dame Hounds
  • Won the 1999 Air Canada Cup as a member of the Pat Canadians

  • Director of Sports for the 2004 Saskatchewan Summer Games
  • Attended the University of Denver on a Hockey Scholarship
