The male and female divers sprung into action yesterday on the first of three days of the springboard event at the CARI in Charlottetown.  “The diving team had a great day today” according to head coach Steve Carroll.  Cole Miller finished sixth in the 1 meter event.  The women had Ainsley Oliver place 9th in their 3 meter competition.  Not only did Coach Carroll like the results of these two divers he was impressed with the dives performed by the other six divers on Team Sask.   He was heard to say “all of these divers gave their maximum effort, that why I loved the day”.
It really was a team effort, all of the athletes had at least two family members from Saskatchewan in the upper deck cheering on Team Sask..  Can’t wait for tomorrow.
