National Artist Program
The National Artist Program brings together bright and talented young artists from each province and territory, representing a variety of disciplines, and challenges them to create a piece of art that best represents the theme of the Games.The artists then share their pieces with other artists, the athletes and the public.
Artists from across the province submitted resumes to the Sask Games Counsel and the following were selected to represent Saskatchewan at the 2009 Canada Summer Games:

Received the Coca-Cola Scholarship for Academic Achievement for the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Saskatchewan
Solo Exhibition in the Spring of 2009 at the Art Gallery of Swift Current

Accomplishments
Received a gold medal and bronze medal in the French Canadian Games in Riveiere-du-Loup and Winnipeg.
Awarded two artist residency grants to go to Montreal in September and January of 2012

Performed as a Co-Concertmaster of the South Saskatchewan Orchestra
Received a Silver Medal from the Royal Conservatory of Music for Voice.
