Charlottetown, PE, (February 17): Team Sask athletes have made their way to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and arrived at the 2023 Canada Winter Games! 

A winter storm rolling through the island threatened to delay the arrival but the team touched down just before 4pm local time (AST) and made their way to the athletes village shortly after, avoiding any delays.

Team Saskatchewan is made up of 217 athletes taking part in all 20 sports, 74 coaches and support staff, and 26 mission staff coming from 60 communities across Saskatchewan, forming a full contingent of 317 participants.

Team Saskatchewan will make their debut on Saturday as the games get underway with the Opening Ceremony.

  • Curling - Female

  • Freestyle Ski

  • Gymnastics - Artistic

  • Gymnastics - Trampoline

  • Hockey - Male

  • Karate

  • Ringette

  • Speed Skating - Long Track

  • Speed Skating - Short Track

  • Squash

  • Table Tennis

  • Wheelchair Basketball

Team Saskatchewan will be looking to improve upon a sixth-place finish at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer where the team claimed 17 medals (3 gold, 3 silver, 11 bronze).
