Overview
The 2017 Canada Summer Games took place from July 27th to August 13th in Winnipeg, Manitoba -- the largest-ever city to host a Canada Games. With 16 sports, over 250 events and a major cultural festival, the 2017 Canada Games welcomed over 4,000 athletes and coaches and more than 20,000 visitors.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Canada Games as well as Canada's 150th birthday, a combination of celebrations that made for "the hottest summer in half a century!"
