Charlottetown, PE – Saskatchewan has added to their medal total on Tuesday morning at the Canada Winter Games in PEI.
Long track speed skater, and Team Saskatchewan flagbearer, Luca Veeman earned a silver medal in the male 1,500m at the Halifax Oval.
Veeman posted a time of 1:58:49 to finish second behind Alberta’s Jalen Doan who clocked in at 1:57:76.
Bon Lowe of Saskatoon finished in 9th place with a time of 2:02:67 while Fergus Owen English of Saskatoon finished 11th (2:03:70) and Daniel Pauli of Warman finished in 18th place (2:09:42).
