MEDAL ALERT | Regina’s Baer Robertson wins Saskatchewan’s first medal of the 2025 Canada Summer Games
ST. JOHN’S, NL (August 12, 2025): Team Sask is in the count with its first medal of the 2025 Saskatchewan Summer Games. Regina’s Baer Robertson took home bronze in the Canoe Kayak C-1 1000m race on Tuesday morning at Quidi Vidi Lake. Roberston’s time was 5:31.775.
The 18-year-old has competed in the sport for nine years and is a member of the Wascana Racing Canoe Club. He’s in St. John’s along with his mother Devri, coaching the Canoe Kayak team; father David, officiating the event; and siblings Axa and Sabe, also competing in Canoe Kayak.
