ST. JOHN’S, NL (August 16, 2025): In a matter of minutes, Team Sask took the bronze medal in both Men's Baseball and Women's Beach Volleyball at the 2025 Canada Summer Games. In Baseball, Team Sask found victory over PEI 4-2. This is the third straight Canada Games where Baseball has stood on the podium. The team earned an historic gold medal at the 2017 Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg and followed up with bronze at the 2022 Canada Summer Games in Niagara. In Beach Volleyball, Erika Markentin and Alexa Smith bested Alberta 2-1 to take bronze over three sets. Saskatchewan stands at four medals heading into week two competition, which begins on Tuesday.
