St Catharine’s, ON (August 19, 2022): Savannah Sutherland (19) from Borden, SK earned a GOLD in the 400m Hurdles Female event today at Canada Games Park. Her event took place at 5:30pm EST, with the medal ceremony taking place at 6:20pm EST. She will also be competing in the 4x400m Relay Female Medal Heat tomorrow, Saturday, August 20th at 4:15pm EST.

Sutherland goes to the University of Michigan, in the United States. Sutherland competed at the 2022 Canadian National Champions winning gold, the 2022 World U20 Championships and the 2021 World U20 Championships placing third.
