The Saskatchewan Games Council is pleased to announce the selection of the Team Sask Mission Staff for the 2013 Canada Summer Games being held in Sherbrooke, Quebec, August 2 – 17, 2013.
Leading Team Sask will Chef de Mission, Lorne Lasuita, Regina. Lorne is the Provincial Games Consultant with the Saskatchewan Games Council. Lorne has served as the Chef for Team Sask for many games including the Canada Games and the Western Canada Summer Games. In 2004, Lorne served on the Mission Staff for Team Canada at the Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
Lorne will be joined by 18 other individuals that will provide logistical support to Team Sask prior to and during the Games being held in Sherbrooke.

Team Sask will consist of 450 athletes, coaches, managers, technical staff and mission staff. The team will participate in 18 sports during the two week event. The sports on the competition calendar include athletics, baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, cycling, canoe kayak, diving, fencing, golf, rowing, sailing, softball, soccer, swimming, tennis, triathlon, volleyball and wrestling.
The Provincial Sport Governing Bodies will select the athletes, coaches and managers that will represent their sport and Team Sask at the 2013 Canada Summer Games.
