If that's the case, Team Saskatchewan's confidence should be high entering the PEI 2023 Canada Winter Games. The uniform kit designed for Team Sask athletes and support staff to wear during the games was unviled on Saturday.
The kit, as you might expect, features plenty of Saskatchewan green highlighted by the jacket athletes will wear in the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, February 18th. The Team Sask logo on the front, the PEI 2023 Canada Games logo on the left sleeve, and white zippers and pulls provide a beautiful contrast that pops.
The kit is complemented by knit mitts featuring a hint of yellow on the Team Sask logo, and a toque showing off the PEI 2023 Canada Games logo on the front. Sleek black joggers complete the Opening Cermonies look with SASK sharply written down the calf.
Athletes will have a mix of comfort and performance with the Under Armour heatgear long sleeve. The white shirt with green Team Sask logo across the front makes a clean style statement for the athletes.
Saskatchewan athletes won't be hard to miss around the village when wearing the signature bunnyhug. The bold green with yellow accents is sure to stand out as a feature of the kit. The highlight of the piece is the front pocket which features the Saskatchewan flag.
One final piece finishes the kit. The Shield of Arms tee is the perfect piece for athletes as they relax around the athlete's village or for wearing underneath their jacket for travel to-and-from venues. The shield on the tee is taken from the Saskatchewan Flag.
It will be a sea of green as Team Sask walks into the 2023 Canada Winter Games Opening Ceremony on Saturday, February 18th, in Prince Edward Island. Saskatchewan is sending a contingent of 217 athletes that will compete across all 20 sports. The games conclude with the Closing Ceremony on March 5th.
