With the Opening Ceremonies taking place later tonight, today is the official first day of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games. 

There are seven Team Sask alumni competing for Team Canada at the Pan Ams this year, and one attending as a team manager. We want to send special congratulations to our alumni and let them know we will be cheering them on!

Taryn Suttie competing at the 2009 Canada Summer Games in Athletics, and will be competing in Athletics at the Pan Ams.

Brianne Theisen-Eaton competed at the 2005 Canada Summer Games in Athletics, and will also be competing in Athletics at the Pan Ams.

Tait Nystuen competed at the 2007 Western Canada Summer Games and 2009 Canada Summer Games in Rugby. He then competed at the 2013 Canada Summer Games in Athletics. He will be representing Canada in Athletics at the 2015 Pan Am Games.

Carla Nicolls was a coach for athletics at the 2003 Western Canada Games, and will be team manager at the Pan Ams.

Tim Landeryou competed at the 2003 Canada Winter Games in Squash, and will be competing in Racquetball for the Pan Ams.

Aerial Arthur competed at the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Target Shooting, and will be competing in Shooting at the Pan Ams.

Cory Niefer coached Target Shooting at the 2003, 2007, and 2011 Canada Winter Games, and will be competing in Shooting at the 2015 Pan Am Games.

Gavin Schmitt competed at the 2005 Canada Summer Games in Men's Volleyball, and will be competing in the same at the Pan Ams.
