Nearly 45 athletes, coaches and organizers who represented Saskatchewan in summer games across Canada this year will be introduced in the Saskatchewan Legislature this afternoon.
“On behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan I would like to congratulate all athletes, coaches and organizers on their strong performances this past summer,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Gene Makowsky said. “The countless hours of hard work and dedication that each of you put in to achieve your goals is evident — you have made Saskatchewan proud. Thank you for showcasing Saskatchewan’s diverse talents in sport and for being excellent ambassadors of our province.”
